With 1 night<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Starting from Karis train station where it is easy to get there by train or leave your car. We start at 10 am a leisurely run mainly along paths and forest roads but also country roads. Total max 17 km one way. <\/p>\n\n

Overnight equipment and other heavy items are transported by car.<\/p>\n\n

Once in Malmbacka,<\/a> we start with a sauna to wash off after the run. This sauna has a very nice bath that many boast about <\/p>\n\n

After the sauna, there will be charcoal worker\u2019s bun with the usual accompaniments for lunch.<\/p>\n\n

After lunch, you will take part in a guided tour about Kolar life, how people lived when they made their own coal. There is also time for the multi-faceted nature trail and other free time. It is now possible to get your hair cut or coloured with the organic hairdresser \u00c4lva<\/a> (this should be booked in connection with the registration for the hike). <\/p>\n\n

In the evening we enjoy a good two-course dinner made on the fire after which it will be nice to settle in for the night. The overnight stay in charcoal worker\u2019s hut is quiet and peaceful. <\/p>\n\n

In the morning we start with a hearty breakfast. We also chop some firewood before we run back at a leisurely pace roughly the same way towards Karis and the train station. <\/p>\n\n

Before getting on the train or in the car, you can shower in the station area’s beautifully renovated sauna before travelling home. <\/p>\n\n

Own quiet time. It is also possible to book an appointment with the organic hairdresser \u00c4lva<\/a> (should be booked in connection with the registration for the walk). <\/p>\n\n

Bathing in the cosy sauna is possible again.<\/p>\n\n

Wood chopping is also on the list. <\/p>\n\n

In the evening, we will again enjoy a delicious two-course dinner, which you are welcome to help prepare by the fire.<\/p>\n\n

And then a last nice long night in the charcoal worker\u2019s hut.<\/p>\n\n
