A very tasty and simple juice that gets ready overnight.
4 lemons
ca. 2 litres of dandelion flowers
2 l water
3 dl sugar
Pick the dandelion flowers without stems. The green part is fine too. Stir the flowers a little so that most of the bugs disappear.
Wash and slice the lemons. Place in a jar or bowl and squeeze the slices so that the juice comes out of both the pulp and the skin.
Add the dandelion flowers and pour in the sugar and cold water. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Cover with a lid or towel and leave in the heat for a couple of hours before putting in the fridge overnight, maximum 24 hours. Stir a few times.
Strain and squeeze out all the juice. Taste if you need more sugar or lemon. Bottle and keep cold. Tastes best cold. Keeps well in the fridge for a couple of days. Can also be frozen.
